December 2022 Newsletter

Let's talk Inflammation. There are a lot of causes ... free radicals, hormones, digestion, inflammatory foods like processed sugar and other processed foods, food sensitivities and allergies, medications, stress, chronic infections and physical injuries, and environmental toxins. It is the "chronic" inflammation, however, that is the most concerning. Time Magazine referred to it as "The Secret Killer".

Chronic inflammation causes your body to be on "high alert" at all times which can lead to heart, brain and other organ damage. It also lowers your immune system's ability to protect.

Some ways to help reduce inflammation include exercise, quality sleep, diet & nutrition and balancing hormones and reducing environmental toxins.
