Pimples, Oily Skin & Acne

The body naturally produces SEBUM oil to keep the skin healthy as a protective barrier to the environment. Sebum oil is released by the sebaceous gland attached to hair follicles in order to keep the skin from drying out.

Acne starts when too much sebum oil plus flakes of dead skin block the hair follicle. Whiteheads form when excessive sebum in plugged hair follicles bulge outward.

Blackheads form when sebum-plugged hair follicles are close to the surface.

Ugly Papules, Pustules & Cysts are formed when skin bacteria infects sebum-plugged follicles.
